Readings for February 20th
Here's what I picked. Don't feel like you have to read all of them, or that you can't come if you didn't get around to reading any of them.
Because OhioLink seems perpetually borked, I put them in a zip file which I will send to you if you can't get them yourself - or if you just want to save yourself the trouble of looking. Just email me and let me know.

First meeting - date/time
I heard back from a couple people about meeting times, and I also checked the schedule of graduate comm classes this quarter to try to avoid conflicts. I'm thinking that Friday, February 20th at noon looks okay. I know that CATS meets every other week on Friday at 12:30 but that's one of their off weeks.
I'll check with Renda to see if a room in Derby is available then. If not, we can be squatters somewhere else. It's not like the building is buzzing on Fridays for the most part.
I will also post a few articles for the first meeting in the next day or so. I would like everyone to have a chance to discuss articles that they're interested in - so I thought maybe I would take the first meeting, and then hand off the baton to someone else for the next one.
Details on location and readings coming soon . . .

Welcome to Lit Review
So - I set up this very barebones site in the hope of avoiding spamming your email to get the informal discussion group going.
Rather than try to pick a clever name (or worse yet, an acronym) I just decided to call it Lit Review (snore!).
I sent an invite to anyone who expressed an interest in participating so that they could author posts on the blog. Even if you don't have this author permission, you can still comment on posts but I thought some of you would like to initiate conversations from time to time.
I'm pretty sure that if you have an RSS reader you can subscribe to the blog so that you get updates and don't have to check the site itself on a regular basis.
Anyway, just nuts and bolts stuff.
